The Opportunity
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly regarded commercial construction business recognised for sustained growth and market innovation. The company is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to support its next phase of expansion. With an experienced leadership team, strong culture, and significant growth opportunities, this role will suit a finance executive with a proven background in construction or property development.
The Challenge
As an integral member of the leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer is actively involved in all material business decisions. Reporting into the Managing Director, the core responsibilities for this role will include:
- Formulation and delivery of an annual finance strategy including divisional analysis, project financial performance, forecast revenue growth, cash flow and tax planning
- Strategic liaison with key stakeholders including banks, tax agents, auditors, insurance brokers, state and federal based regulatory bodies and other statutory agencies
- Enhancing the FP&A capability and providing first class strategic analysis to support business decisions
- Ensuring compliance with all tax requirements including, PAYG, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax, Income Tax
- Balance sheet and working capital management
- Responsible for all financial reporting and the financial audit process
- Accurate and timely delivery of management reports and other financial information
- Leading, mentoring and overseeing the growth of the finance team
The Expertise
